After the launch of the KFC Jack Harlow Meal, friend of the rapper, Lil Nas X tweeted about Harlow working the drive-thru. And I pulled out my notes app to let KFC play along with the joke.

Within 30 days of being posted, KFC had 4.5M impressions, 224.9K likes, 9K retweets, 13.2% engagement. It even went beyond Twitter, to TikTok and even Instagram.

At the 2023 Shorty Awards, the tweet won Best Clapback.

The Tweet even moved on to TikTok with Lil Nas X posting about it and even content creators got involved.
